Weant Shot In Rabbit Hunting Accident At High Point
DO H Weant of High Point was injured by an accidental gun discharge while rabbit hunting west of the city. The bullet pierced his foot and severed a toe. He was taken home for medical care and rested well the following afternoon. Worker struck by falling rocks at new hotel
W C Holts, a white man, was injured Wednesday when rocks fell from the top of a new hotel building while he worked there. He suffered multiple scalp cuts but no serious injury. a large felt hat aided protection as a cable failed, dropping rocks 75 feet to the ground.

No Water Restored After North Carolina Public Service Wire Break

Heart failure was the cause though death came with little warning as Mrs Ellington observed the morning sky before he collapsed. Noted Man to Speak Here Sunday
Dr. R. L. Davis of Raleigh, superintendent of the North Carolina anti saloon league, will speak at the First Reformed church Sunday at 11 o clock. He has spoken in High Point before and drew large crowds. Since 1906 he has led the league in the state and built a strong prohibition reputation. He exposed blind tiger liquor in Raleigh in 1912 to an audience of 4000 and later helped convict three gang members.
