Burglary Report With Polite Intruder On the Parkway
A well dressed, polite burglar entered Mrs. Lucy Munyon’s Montoy Avenue home in the afternoon and later attacked the G W Rhodes residence on the Parkway. Police say a gun and money were taken but amounts were small. The suspect, posing as a citizen, sought hours and loitered near neighbors. Chief Blackwelder urged residents to call police when suspicious persons are seen to curb daylight burglaries.

The Elks band gave a fine Friday night concert in Kernersville drawing a large crowd. The program featured standard and rmizr selections with brasses at full strength and an arrangement by Dr. J. Fred Tesh. Vera a piano solo and Clara Boyd on piano provided melodious interludes. A dinner for musicians at Dunlap hotel followed, organized by Kernersville residents.

Acquittal in High Point Auto Theft Case
Dewey Guire, a young White resident of High Point, was arraigned in Greensboro on a stolen car charge filed by Mrs. Wade. He was acquitted and the case dismissed after testimony and a request from Wade’s father-in-law, the prosecuting attorney. The April 19 1920 theft was the alleged incident.

A 13 year old negro boy, Botts Stelle, was hit by an automobile truck near Welch baseball park on Thursday at 4 PM. He died about six o clock after suffering a fractured skull and multiple injuries. Negro Gives Bad Check for Auto Fraud Charge

Two Injured In Accident On Bridge At Arch Hill
