Spencer North Carolina April 14 Southern Railway completes a modern stock resting and feeding plant adjoining Spencer yards to aid movement of livestock to Eastern Virginia markets. It has 33 pens 20 covered with paved alleys drainage via sloped site and electric lighting. Nine cattle pens isolate quarantined stock by a ten foot high arch wall and all stock unloaded at Spencer for feeding and rest.
