Two Area Garden Centers Transplant in Brooklyn Neighborhoods
Gowanus Nursery relocates to 9 Carroll Street after leaving Summit Street in October 2010 and Red Hook Urban Garden Center opens at 410 Van Brunt Street with former Liberty Sunset owners. Paladino celebrates a close community feel as the stores offer native plants, annuals, perennials, herbs, vegetables and more. The Red Hook shop runs specials through June 19 and participates in the Columbia Street Art Flea Market with varied hours.
