New Federal Court Opens With 225 Cases Docketed
The United States court of customs appeals begins Tuesday with 225 cases on the docket. Five judges will hear arguments at the first session, including R. M. Montgomery and William H. Hunt. District Court Adjourns After Fall Term

Grand Old Man James Norwood Passes At 97
James Norwood age ninety seven died after a fall at home soon after returning from an auto ride. He was the Cowling family grandfather and had been living with them. The body was shipped to Mineral Springs Arkansas for burial with Mr and Mrs Cowling and daughter accompanying. The newspaper hopes to publish a fuller obituary next issue.
