An all night rain and wet snow ended Sunday night bringing about 0.65 to 0.70 inches of precipitation. North divide areas reported up to four inches of wet snow while Potter saw about half an inch. The Winters farm near Potter measured 0.70 inches. Days after were clear and warm with a light frost Tuesday night. The moisture benefits pastures and winter crops and aids seeding.

Duck Season Opens Across State With Hour Limits
Open season on ducks runs October 22 to December 5 nationwide except in federal and state sanctuaries and refuges.
