Fine car burned while driven near Sidney
Sidney Telegraph reports a Nash car owned by Mrs Io R Sabin burned while driving home with Mr and Mrs Sendrieckson and a baby as passengers. Smoke appeared from the hood about one mile east and three miles north of Sidney and flames followed within seconds. The car, four months old and only partly insured, was destroyed in moments.

New Street Lights Loom Up in Potter Nebraska
Last Saturday the street lighting switchboard arrived and was installed in the local plant on Sunday, and that evening the thirty new street lights were turned on. The lights illuminate a large area and will burn from dusk till daylight, making Potter one of the best lighted towns in Nebraska of its size.

Charles Erickson Passes Away in Potter Nebraska
The community mourns Charles Erickson a longtime Potter resident born in Finland October 14 1858 who died May 12 1921 aged 62 years 9 months and 2 days He came to America in 1882 and after marriage to Christina Anderson in 1885 lived in Leadville Colorado before moving to Potter in 1887 He leaves his wife six children one brother one sister and four grandchildren Funeral services were held May 15 1921 at the Potter Methodist Church with Rev T P Bennett and Rev C O Troy officiating Interment followed at the local cemetery The pallbearers were C W Johnson George Gunderson George Hicks Adam Gunderson Grant Brady and A M Leadale

The week brought frequent moisture with Saturday and Sunday foggy but dry. Tuesday and Wednesday produced occasional showers and a heavier rain ten miles west. Thursday saw local showers, light overall, soaking ground with no evaporation from sun. By Thursday evening Potter recorded half an inch of rain.

Legion Dance Draws Crowd and Funds for Potter Post 291
Potter Post No 291 American Legion held a Wednesday evening dance that yielded about 162 dollars in ticket sales and an estimated 60 dollars net for the post.
