Farmers in the county are urged by the Farm Bureau and precinct committees to renew their fight against grasshoppers. Rain and cold weather do not eliminate the threat. poison should be spread at the first warm, clear weather. Precinct committeemen will arrange bait readiness, and leftover bait may go to others on repeat orders. Entomologist O S Bare notes results take 3 to 7 days and that beetles and ants can disperse dead hoppers, making kill appear minimal.

Albert N Johnson died in Portland Oregon on June 8 1937 aged 63 years 5 months 4 days He was born January 4 1874 in Roseville I and moved with his parents to a North Potter homestead He taught in Cheyenne and Scotts Bluff counties later entered the jewelry trade in Oregon and served nearly 20 years as Estacada postmaster He leaves three sisters and three brothers including Mrs A M Leafdale and Joe J Johnson Buried in Vancouver Washington beside his father August N Johnson who died in 1927.

Terrific Speed Blamed for Wyoming Fatal Crash
Roy Hensley 28 of Oshkosh Nebraska died instantly when his car left a curve near Bosler Wyoming and struck a telegraph pole. Gale Brooks 28, also of Oshkosh, suffered severe injuries and was hospitalized in Laramie. Sheriff says the car was traveling at terrific speed. No inquest. Wyoming's 1937 automobile toll climbs to 43 with this death.
