Potter Falls to Dalton Narrowly In Ninth Inning

Potter lost to Dalton by a small margin after a fast paced game on Sunday. Potter led with a potential shutout until Dalton scored twice in the eighth and the decisive run in the ninth. Potter outplayed Dalton in most facets but could not overcome the late rally.

Methodist Church Notes on Children’s Day Service

The Glad Hand church invites all to a Children’s Day program with music and a brief address on The Right of the Child by Rev. Garland. A free basket dinner follows in the church basement. Union Pacific to Run Tourist Trains From Denver to Loveland

Union Pacific will use the era Railway tracks between Kelvin and Loveland Colorado to operate summer tourist passenger trains for Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park visitors from June 15 through September 30. Through cars will run between Denver and Loveland on all UP trains on the Denver Fort Collins line with connecting service LaSalle to Loveland on several Denver Chicago and Denver Cheyenne routes. The line expects heavy mountain resort travel this summer.
