Village Signs State Agreement on New Feeder Road
At a special meeting the village board approved plans for a feeder road starting at the Lincoln highway and running north along the main street to join the state highway north of the schoolhouse. Edgar Leafdale and his family endured a third collision in months on icy Kansas roads near Cozad. Injuries were bruises and cuts for the Leafdales, more serious for the other driver. Snow drifts delayed the funeral from Saturday to Sunday near Potte. A large crowd attended the services at St. Pauls Lutheran church as workmen cleared roads for many from the area to pay their respects to the elderly resident.
