The Potter Compnnils Puoseers club enjoyed a done fee and a social time at the Stines cate Wednesday evening. A large number was present, with interest in boosting the community. Minutes of the last two meetings were read and approved. The committee reported on getting P.W. labor to aid needy farmers. Boy Scout and Campfire work were discussed, and $3.00 was donated to the organization. The meeting adjourned to the Masonic Hall where S et. Snowfall Drapes Area In Calm Monday Weather
An inch of fluffy snow fell across the area Monday morning with a second fall in the evening. Total moisture measured 0.14 inches by a local observer and most of the snow vanished by Wednesday as the ground soaked it up. The storm was largely local, fell without wind, and reduced visibility to a few blocks at times. Last week’s precipitation topped half an inch, helping thirsty soil. Temperatures dipped at night and rose in the day, and Wednesday’s clear sky let the sun melt much of the snow.
