Yesterday about fifty Indies gathered at Mrs Thornburgs home to form two Women's Club units to affiliate with the State Federated Women's Club. Officers elected were Thornburg president Metzker vice president Woten secretary Harris treasurer. Next meeting set for second Friday in September at Mrs Wotens home. The group plans to publish more information on activities soon.

Train Crash Destroys Wagon. Boy Narrowly Escapes
Union Pacific No. 20 struck a team and wagon at the Bronson crossing Monday, killing the horses and demolishing the wagon. The driver, a boy, escaped death in a miraculous escape. The team and wagon belonged to Glenn Bales.
