A new ore strike near Pioche on the Victor claim promises potential riches, with explorers rush­ing to locations along the Alps and Poorman zones.

Ground Located in Churchill County Said to Hold Oil

About two thousand acres in Churchill county are believed to contain oil and natural gas. The Truckee River General's Electric Company promises to supply light for Gardenerville within six months.
