Pioche Mining Boom to Return With New Rail Link

Pioche, a historic mining camp, is rising again as rail extension from Caliente nears completion. Nereda-Gum, Ohio-Kentucky, and other firms plan heavy production on ore valued at 25 to 150 per ton across districts including Bristol, Highland, Jackrabbit, and Lone Mountain. Nevada-Utah, Raymond & Ely, and Bambergers own rich ledges and veins, with tens of thousands of tons ready for shipment and ongoing development to restore Pioche’s prominence.
