Tragic Trolley Wreck Near Bowling Green Kills and Injures Dozens
A wreck on the U and I Railway near Bowling Green at 6 50 pm left about 30 injured and one dead. The Limited car collided with the Local car after misreading a switch causing heavy damage and entombing passengers. Rescue crews and physicians treated the injured through the night at Millikin Hotel and nearby homes while officials investigated the crash.
