Train Sideswipe Kills Boy at Weston Crossing
A late afternoon eastbound passenger train struck a buggy carrying O Craft and his nine year old son Oscar at a Weston street crossing. The horse died. the father survived with minor injuries while Oscar died at Rheinfrank hospital from severe head and chest injuries. Conductor Wise and Engineer Ryan face charges for fast running. Ladies Aid Entertainment Delights Parish Gathering
