Grandma Thacker mother of C. D. Thacker of Weston was found dead in her bed Sunday morning. She was ninety years old and had been very feeble for some time. Known and loved by all in the village, she resided there many years.

Bicycle Fatality After Nearsighted Driver Collision
The cyclist Frank Hall, 46, a contractor for B G, was killed on Main Street when he failed to see N R Hartington, a lawyer, driving a rig in the opposite direction. Hall, who was nearsighted, struck the rig and was thrown from his bicycle. he died at 101 o'clock after suffering a fractured skull. He leaves a widow and two children.

Fatally Burned Oil Worker in Maryland Boiler House
Scott Painter, 83, was fatally burned in the boiler house of his home oil well in North Baltimore on Thursday after lighting a match to check water level. A hidden gas leak caused an explosion flinging him 20 feet, tearing his clothing and searing his face. He left a wife and three children.

A fifty year old man and a woman of similar age sought marriage licenses with a young man and girl as witnesses. The couple were a father and mother of a bride and the groom and son of the groom. At Squire Nearing the marriage papers were issued, but money ran short as the old man complained it cost 80 more to marry here than in Michigan after a fine dinner.
