Inquest Planned in Helena Death at Local Tavern
Sheriff Coroner E R Munger to return to Helena where an inquest into the death of 26 year old Mrs Elmor Allery Orsella may be held Tuesday. Melvin Magnuson’s office said a time for the inquest would be set after the sheriff returns. Officials said the death at a local tavern followed an alleged beating outside the tavern. Autopsy results were not available by Monday night.

State Balance Over That of Year Ago
HELENA June 14 Montana's treasury is fat and healthy, State Auditor John J Holmes said Monday. On June 1 there was a net balance of 49 955 582 in all state funds, compared with 35 030 060 a year ago. The state's net worth on the first of the month was 86 421 423. The state's invested missiles total 25 628 718, while bonded indebtedness stands at 8 601 300, Holmes reported.

Heart Attack Fatal to Michael Benson
A man identified as Michael Benson, about 48, died from a heart attack in an East Park street tavern Monday evening. He was taken to St. James hospital by Officers John O Mara and Ed Huhtanen and pronounced dead on arrival. Coroner Rudy Sayatavis said the man’s home was believed to be in Tacoma, Washington. No inquest will be held. The body is at Duggan’s Meryl mortuary.
