Dad makes it ex Butte miner graduates in Dillon Monday

Ex Butte miner Bill Richards graduates from Western Montana College in Dillon with a Bachelor of Science in elementary education and industrial arts. He commuted from Butte with a family of six, worked a paper route, took odd jobs, and rebuilt his life after a 1963 accident and a Butte strike. North Vietnamese Offensive Intensifies Near Saigon

Moon mission scouts deem landing site feasible though rugged

Apollo 10 crewmates Col. Thomas Stafford Cmdr. John Young and Cmdr. Eugene Cernan say the moon scouting site for Apollo 11 is rough but has enough smooth patches for a landing with proper path corrections.
