Needy Children Urged to Place Toy Orders in Butte

1000 Teachers to Convene in Butte for M E A District Meet

Butte will host the Southwestern district convention of the Montana Education Association next October. British Sink Nazi U-Boat and Hit Cruiser

The admiralty said a German pocket battleship Admiral Graf Spee was repeatedly hit in a heavy fight with three British cruisers off Uruguay as authorities noted pursuit toward the River Plate. Separately a British submarine sank a U-boat and torpedoed an enemy cruiser in the North Sea, while air units damaged two Dornier flying boats.
