Ennis Man Takes New Air Force Recruiting Role

Ennis on August 28 reports show a slate of young men from Butte entering three-year terms in the Air Force. Hibbs Hipp Rowe McKinnon Stanich and Wasman are among enlistees. Stanich and Wasman have prior service and education histories in Butte. The report lists their ages and parental details as part of the enlistment notices.

Four Local Youths Named In Military Enlistments

John Evans, 18, Erans son of Mrs. John Witthoft of 2512 Elm, graduated from Boys Central high and joined school orchestra and Montana State band. McNally, 18, son of Thomas and Mrs. McNally of 637 South Dakota, finished St Ann's academy in South Fort Smith Ark and played football in school. McEnaney, 18, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael McEnaney of 438 East Granite, graduated 1947 from Boys Central high and attended. Scott, 17, son of Mr. and Mrs L Giachetti of 901 South Jackson, attended San Juan Capistrano high and active in basketball football track. previously worked for Montana Power.
