The Supreme Court upheld the lower court judgment, meaning the Prices must serve their county road terms.

Brooks Arrested in Charlotte for Outbuilding Fire and Insurance Scam
W T Brooks was arrested in Charlotte last Saturday on charges of burning an outbuilding in New Salem township and trying to collect insurance on thirteen bales of cotton stored there. The bales had been hauled out and sold before the fire. The warrant was sworn by a State Insurance department agent. Deputy Sheriff Griffith and Constable Fowler brought Brooks to jail.
