Injured Man Jumps From Louisville Train at Oakdale Crossing
Norwegian seaman Johansen suffered bruises to head and knee at 1 30 this morning when leaping from a northbound Louisville and Nashville train at the Washington avenue crossing in Oakdale. He was not seriously hurt and detectives Burden and Untreiner investigated. Separately surgeons at the marine hospital amputated the left arm of Wilfred Robinson of 20 Basin Street, a crew member aboard the schooner Stranger, after his arm was mangled between a rope and a wench drum off Mobile last Saturday night. The operation follows the injury as the vessel neared Mobile yesterday.

Prohibition officers spotted a 50 gallon still with nine barrels of beer mash back of Wheelerville, 16 miles from the city, Monday afternoon.
