John Cassell and C Cassell and Joe Powell, taxi drivers, were fined in the recorder's court for disorderly conduct after entering the Foneward cafe on St Francis street and damaging dishes and fittings. Cassell received 50 dollars or 50 days as aggressor, C Cassell 25 dollars, Powell 10 dollars, all with costs. Additional fines of 25 dollars were imposed on J H Kelly, Rowland Kelly, R G Bodiford, and J A Burns for disorderly conduct after a 2 am arrest following a chase in the wholesale district. drunkenness merged into the charges.

Seven steamers reach Mobile for cargo exports

Barge Brings Cargo From New Orleans to Mobile
A self propelled barge named Tuscaloosa brought about 1000 tons of general freight into Mobile yesterday from New Orleans and Mississippi River points. Part of the cargo will be sent to the up river district. Two barges with freight were towed here. The towboat Montgomery is scheduled to depart today for the up river district with a six barge tow.
