New Plan Proposes Tax Exempt Veteran Bonds
Washington June 8 A bill introduced by Rep Work Republican New York would issue five percent tax exempt bonds to veterans in amounts up to 760 for overseas service and 600 for home service. Bonds expire in ten years and pay 1.75 and 1.25 a day respectively. The measure also provides paid up life insurance with face value based on adjusted service compensation plus 25 percent.
