The President will travel from Swarthmore to Mobile arriving early Monday. He will address the Southern Commerce sp a be and review a parade of fraternal organizations before leaving for Washington at noon.

Workers hoped to reach the jammed door connecting chambers before nightfall as government and United States Mine Rescue teams joined the effort amid uncertain outcomes.
Federal court in Montgomery begins with about twenty witnesses in the case against J. T. Lawrence D. A. Deason and Ralph Calloway of Maplesville charged with moving property from a bankrupt’s store after adjudication. Calloway is Maplesville postmaster. Defendants say the case stems from a political move to oust Calloway.
