A disaster report from Lower Peach Tree indicates twenty seven dead and fifty six injured after a tornado. E R Morrisette Jr sent by Baker Lyons Co reports widespread ruin along the Alabama river bluff with destroyed stores and homes and dozens of coffins en route for interment as relief efforts begin.
Montgomery March 22 special reports wet Peach Tree cyclone harmed teachers attending the educational convention. E L Williamson of Pine Hill lost his parents and brother. others were injured as they traveled home to Selma on a chartered special train.
A Business Men's League in Montgomery sent 100 dollars to W. L. Jeffreys of Lower Peach Tree for relief of victims of Friday morning's tor n damages.

In Memphis Tennessee on March 22 Wal ton McNeal a 12 year old runaway from Columbus Mississippi was crushed to death after grabbing a motor truck as it passed at high speed. Driver E A Johnson a Negro is jailed on manslaughter charges. The boy on roller skates was dragged beneath the rear wheels before the truck stopped.
