In St Louis on March 11 a woman's body partly identified as Mrs Ethel Keating Boggess wife of Dr John S Boggess of the United States Marine Hospital Service was recovered from the Mississippi River near St Genevieve Missouri. Mrs Boggess had disappeared from Kansas City in August Detectives traced her to St Louis and found she had used a rowboat then disappeared. A boat half full of water was later found at Fort Gage Illinois supporting the drowning conclusion.
