Russell Irwin and a companion, both sixteen, set out from Stroh Indiana in a Saxon car hoping to reach Blytheville Arkansas. They claim to complete the 50 mile journey in one week despite torrential rains and miles of mud. They say the Saxon carried them through where others could not and used 25 gallons of gas and five gallons of oil.
