An outbound Marine and Broad street car struck a horse and wagon at Maryland street Wednesday afternoon. The driver escaped. the horse was trapped under the car and killed after being pulled free. Traffic on the line was halted for nearly an hour. The horse and wagon reportedly belonged to John Benson. Motorman Oscar Hanson operated the car at the time of the accident.
