New Year Reception At Campbell Home For Miss Poetz And Miss Bridgman
A New Year reception at the Campbell residence honored Miss Poetz and Miss Bridgman with a gay, music filled evening. Guests included Dr. and Mrs. Campbell and many young society members such as Miss Henrietta Tacon Miss Ethel Brown Miss Vera Williams and Miss Betty Hagan. The dining room displayed a lace cloth red poinsettias a tall cut glass piece with candies and fruit cake. Friends lingered throughout the night enjoying the dance and warm hospitality.

Coal theft arrest in city on Petit Larceny charge
Tom Giles described as colored, resident of Earl and Hamilton streets, was arrested Saturday afternoon by Officers New and Averyt on a petit larceny complaint filed by Brown-Morgan Coal Company. He allegedly stole a load of coal.
