More than 150 tickets were reserved by noon Wednesday for Mobile Chamber of Commerce’s Dawes land excursion to the orange belt. Tickets limited to 200, train leaves Mobile at 2 PM for a 2 hour stop at Dawes with visits to the cane mill and Kroner plantation orange grove. Satsuma oranges and a syrup lunch await travelers and many teachers join the trip from local schools.

The gasoline yacht Elsie III owned by G. S.
