A wave of narcotics arrests swept Mobile as Phillip Moeton testified he agreed with J J Bromley to bring heroin for disposal. Bromley, alias Jack Bromley of 567 St Louis St, is charged with selling heroin and conspiring to violate the Harrison anti drugs act. Sarah Lewis, alias Skeeter, of 551 St Louis St, was arrested with others and held on anti drug act charges. Deputy U S Marshal E S Tunstall Jr led the arrests with Detectives Newbern and Hal. Moeton pleaded not guilty at first but later sought a grand jury hearing.
