4000 Mosquito Nets Bought for Alabama State Guards
Montgomery. Ala. The state military department has contracted a Montgomery firm to deliver 4,000 mosquito nets for the Alabama brigade after the U S War Department could not supply them. General Hubbard sought immediate delivery as soldiers needed them, and 350 nets were sent to Montgomery for issue to two batteries of artillery and a signal corps company.
