A circuit court jury awarded Raymond English 60 dollars Albert Logan 135 dollars Tom James 50 dollars and Will English 72.50 dollars against James MaMahon a Wheelerville precinct former Justice of the Peace and his bondsmen the American Bonding Company. Man Killed by Mobile and Ohio Passenger Train
Mark Collier, about 55, a resident of Congress street near Joachim, was fatally struck by Mobile and Ohio No. 7 southbound near Three-mile creek about 11 15 am Saturday. He attempt to cross the track after being seen sitting beside it and was cut in two. The coroner viewed the remains at his home.
