A Friday afternoon meeting set plans for a procession involving sixty machines to be included in the Mobile County event. The plan is definite, with officials confirming the procession details and to proceed in an organized display.
Sixty automobiles are required by Mobile business leaders for a flying tour through South Mobile County. Merchants have some cars, but more are needed. Citizens with spare motors should volunteer by calling the Chamber of Commerce or W. T. Kelly at the Kelly-Brady Hardware Company.
The Mobile Chamber of Commerce trade expansion committee approved a Mobile county automobile excursion for Tuesday May 6. Sixty borrowed cars will carry a twelve piece brass band through Dawes Union Church Grand Bay Irvington St Elmo and South Orchards to show the benefits of keeping dollars local.
