Urgent request from farmers tributary to Twin City Aberdeen Yellowstone Park Trail prompts officials to schedule a second Trail Day. The author challenges State Attorney Amos O. Stanley’s actions regarding June 15 1913 in Hettinger and July 1913 license decisions in Perkins County. A ball game between Spring Butte and Pretty Rock follows with foot races egg races potato race prizes and evening dancing. Sid leads the Program Committee and invites all to attend for a good time.
The Class of 1914 at Mitchell High held a Friday opera hall ceremony led by Prof W McClinton, who spoke on A Revised Vision as diplomas were awarded by Dr B Ellis. An afternoon class day in the school auditorium featured salutatory by Bernita Balel, essays, poems, music, and valedictory by Ephraim Truncer.
