C R Braught travels on business this week in the reservation. The Parish Priest company goes to Hettinger Friday evening to perform their home talent play. Many Lemmonites will join by train and more by auto. Dr C R Strang returned from Thermopolis Wyoming with Mrs Louis Mealman for rheumatism treatment, Mr Mealman accompanying and staying behind. James Rariden returns from Greenup Illinois after months with parents and may go to Roy Montana for gold mining prospects. Bob Rainey brought George Carr to the railroad for a trip west to Oregon after a sister in law's death. Archie Smith will oversee Carr's drugstore duties in his absence. Clif Larsh and Charles Bennet from Meadow stop by. GC Cooper leaves for Twin Cities on business. Mr and Mrs Livermore welcome a newborn son born April 17. Postmaster W H Doherty, soon to retire, will move to Watauga and become cashier of the Watauga State Bank. Doherty’s departure will be felt by Lemmon friends. his energy and leadership have aided local progress. The community wishes them success in the new home.

Mrs Maria Nesbitt Dies at 82 in Lemmon Home
Miss Maria Nesbitt of this city died last Wednesday morning at 1 20 at her nephew William Nesbitt s home after a paralytic stroke. She was 82 years five months old and had taught in Indiana Pa and Walworth County before serving as an army nurse in the Civil War. Funeral held today at 2 from the Nesbitt home with Rev Martin Hyink presiding.

Lemmon Auto Co adds Ford territories including Hettinger New England Mott agencies with 40 Ford cars due in early May. N H Miller A Bunn A S Tubbs Don Delaney and J Stoner attended the Democratic County Central Committee meeting at Bison. Charles Weiland was chosen chair and Otto Rodenbour treasurer. Democrats optimistic about the fall.
