Why students choose Lee College this week
Roving reporters gather responses from students about why they enrolled. Reasons range from pursuing education and securing secretary or architectural careers to staying busy, socializing, or avoiding work. Several express personal goals like marriage, public service, and intramural play.
Students Shape Leadership At Lee College
David Smith runs for Student Council president aiming to strengthen ties among students council and faculty and envisions a full program after the council meets. Gay McFarland, assistant in the main office and Student Council secretary treasurer, advocates active student participation and self rule, while leading Phi Theta Kappa and earning Dean’s List honors.
