Technical Vocational Plant Planned at Lee College
Dean Walter Rundell announced Goose Creek School Board plans a two story technical and vocational education building at Lee College. The 40 600 square foot unit would sit at the southwest corner of the campus and house labs and classrooms including data radio and television labs on the first floor and engineering drawing pipe design and nursing programs on the second floor.

Piper Foundation Nominees Named From Lee College
The Minnie Stevens Piper Foundation will honor ten professors this year with a Piper Professor award and a $1,000 cash prize. Ten teachers will be selected from statewide nominations, to recognize teaching excellence not research. Lee College nominees are Gladys Ellis Guy Johnson and Thurmin E Rowlett chosen by a committee led by Billy D. Walker Henry M. Austin and Dr. David L. Norton.
