Circle K Fall Festival Set for November 12
The Circle K Fall Festival at Lee College is planned for November 12 marking its second charity event. Last year’s festival raised over 500 dollars and will feature carnival booths by high school and college service clubs. Clubs should contact Circle K members for booth ideas and applications.

Draft Test Applications Available for Nov 1966 Dates
Applications for the College Qualification Test on November 18 and 19, 1966 are available at Baytown Selective Service boards. Eligible students should request an application card and Bulletin of Information, fill out the form, and mail to Educational Testing Service in Princeton. Applications must be postmarked by October 21, 1966. Early filing improves center assignment chances and requires listing a preferred test center and center number.

Mollie St John Receives Youth Group Achievement Award
Lee College student Mollie St John was honored as past president of the Future Nurses Club at Rob ert E Lee High School with the Youth Group Achievement award and a certificate of Honor from Parents' Magazine in the 12th annual Youth Awards. The recognition highlighted Project Lisa, where two club members helped Lisa, the daughter of mute parents, gain speech through daily activities.

Halloween dance planned for Oct 29 by Student Council
The council set a Halloween dance for October 29 in the gym from 7 30 p m to midnight with tacky dress code described as cut offs and sweatshirts. A hootenanny remains set for December 21 and discussions included a Dr Pepper machine on campus.

LC Personnel Keep Busy with Speaking Engagements Across Months
Lee College administrators and faculty undertook numerous speaking engagements and trips. President Dr. Richard Strahan spoke at St. Mark's, and Grace church while Dean Walter Rundell and Wayne Miller addressed other gatherings. Activities include conventions in San Jacinto, Atlantic City, and Austin with sessions on school law and coordinating board meetings.
Class Officers Complete With Run Off Vote
Four new Student Council officers were elected in last week’s run offs, including two freshmen and two sophomores. Sophomore reps were Paul Phillips and Susan McGraw. SuJan McAlister was freshman class secretary and Janet Enoch was the second girl representative. Main elections earlier elected sophomores John Drouilhet president Sammy Hance vice president Anna Saw berger secretary and Richard Carr Barbara Becka representatives. Freshman officers include Dennis Williams president Doyle Toups vice president Randy Beck man Mark Gage Cynthia Mc Dowell reps. Turnout 192 run off votes vs 281 in main elections.
