Lee Logs Distribution Set For March Evenings
Lee Logs will be distributed to subscribers on Tuesday March 8 and Wednesday March 9 from Miss Elizabeth Meeks Office A on the northeast corner of the first floor. Distribution hours include 6 30 to 8 50 p m Tuesday and 8 15 to 8 30 a m 9 30 to 11 30 a m 3 00 to 3 30 p m and 4 30 to 6 30 p m Wednesday. Subscriptions checked and receipts shown aid in processing. Advisory Board members will supervise distribution.

Lee College Delegation Attends Temple Convention
A Lee College delegation led by Joe Chandler and Mary Ann Stark attended the State Junior College Student Council Convention in Temple on Feb 25 and 26 with 20 schools represented. Officers and a new constitution were adopted. Lee College and Odessa Junior College vied for 1956 host duties, Odessa winning by eight votes. Florence Neill accompanied the group.

Judy Davis reports a three day Rebelites Western festival climax with a Western dance on Wednesday March 9 at 8:00 in the college gym. Attendees are urged to wear cowboy attire as John Paul Jones and other dancers perform. Officials promise bar style refreshments and a saloon themed gym with decorations and sheriff Joe Chandler and deputies among the organizers.

No Classes Meet on March 10 and 11

History Club Organized Here at Lee College
The LC History Club sponsored by R. L. Williamson held its first meeting February 21. It is the first such group on the Lee campus focusing on Texas history and Baytown area studies with field trips to sites of interest. Officers are Jerry McClure president Ernest Jordan vice president and Gerald Jessee secretary. Membership requires Lee College students with a C average. The sponsor invites historical documents or articles for display.

Summer Courses At Lee College This Summer
Dean Walter Rundell asks all prospective summer students to return a questionnaire on course preferences and schedules. Forms are available in the main office and due by April 8. Summer terms run June 8 to July 19 and July 20 to August 30. Students may take up to five courses or seven semester hours per six weeks.
