College on hiatus as staff attend conventions abroad

Dean Walter Rundell announced there will be no more swap ping English classes by faculty. Beginning with summer session a new method will assign classes. On the first day instructors will line up at the Snack Bar and race to the main building after a signal from custodian Hobbs.

Rebel links in Lee College gambling ring raid
In a Lee College student lounge raid around 11 30 am yesterday several prominent Student Council members were arrested along with Glenn Taylor who is believed to be the kingpin. David Arnett and Cookie Gerber will testify that Taylor blurred dominoes for his lady friends Melvaline Anderson and Judy Davis. If indicted his student lounge license may be revoked and he could be barred from gambling on campus. An editor’s note adds readers may hear more through Lantern reporting.
