Gentry and Rundell Attend Dallas Meetings on Education Bills
President George H. Gentry and Dean Walter Rundell of Lee College flew to Dallas for an all day area meeting to brief college administrators on federal Vocational Education and Educational Facilities bills. The Vocational bill would fund up to fifty percent of construction costs and all equipment for the first year, while the Facilities bill would cover forty percent of classroom and library facilities excluding medical arts. Funds would be administered by the Texas Education Agency with uncertainty over Texas allocations.

Art Students Show Semester's Work at Lee College
The fall semester student art exhibition is now on display in the art room at Lee College. The show features drawings paintings and sculptures in pencil charcoal ink pastel oil watercolor and clay with elementary projects included. It runs until Jan 23 and is open to the public. Regular registration for the 1964 spring semester will be held on January 27 and 28 in the main building from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Permits are available from the main office for 9 a.m. on January 27. Pre-registration fees must be paid between January 16 and 21.
