Meet the Faculty- Stone Hails from Comanche Country
Thom as M. Stone, pianist, draws applause from Ar ag Civic Music Club as rats roam the old theatre during a concert. He hails from Comanche County Texas and rose through Kilgore Junior College and North Texas State University. Stone held teaching posts, earned two music degrees, joined Pi Kappa Lambda and Phi Mu Alpha, and served as Navy pharmacist mate aboard the U S Tryon in 1943.

State Student Council Convention Meets Here
Alton Laird announces the Texas Jr. College Student Council Convention will be held at Lee College April 16 to 18. About 125 delegates from roughly 25 member colleges attend with four voting delegates each plus sponsors. Dr. Richard Setzer of Lamar Tech is the keynote speaker.

LC Bowling Team Dominates Austin Intercollegiate Meet
Lee College bowling teams won team and doubles titles at the 1964 Intercollegiate Co Ree Bowling Tournament in Austin. Stevens led boys with a 211 game and 576 series and Shannon and Davis captured doubles with strong 251 and 477 series. Lee’s Strawn, St. Clair, Casney, and Galloway also placed in team and doubles events, while UT and others trailed.
