Lee College Student Government Forms Provisional Constitution
At a Sept 9 organizational meeting Jay Antle was elected chairman Toni Graham vice chairman and Stacey Stratton recorder. Eighteen students attended as the provisional government plans to amend the old constitution establish an interim government and increase student involvement with future aims including a service club dances and an annual blood drive.

New parking lot approved to ease LC campus woes
Lee College Regents allocate 160000 to build a new student and visitor parking lot in front of Rundell Hall on Lee Drive. Project expected to begin in November and finish by January with space for about 120 to 125 vehicles and separate entrances. On campus search prompts longer LC switchboard hours
After a Lee College student’s child needed emergency surgery on September 8, campus search efforts and a biology teacher led to a switchboard closure. Four LC students and Carolyn Foster helped look for the child’s mother in class. Kyle Jennings seeks another student assistant to keep the switchboard open until 10 p.m.

Enrollment up seven percent at LC as registration evolves
Preliminary enrollment rises 7 percent with 3 644 students registered by Sept a8 and more than 1 000 in the TDC program. Off campus and neighborhood college enrollments total about 325 with Dayton Liberty area leading.
