Renaissance Festival Returns Under King Henry VII Influence
The 14th annual Renaissance Festival runs at FM 1774 between Plantersville and Magnolia. Gates open 9 a.m. to dusk on weekends through Nov 12 and 13. Expected admission income tops $3 million with about 275000 visitors yearly. Attendees meet Robin Hood, King Henry VIII, Queen Anne and other period figures. Artisans demonstrate crafts like glassblowing and blacksmithing.
