Crosby Area May Join San Jacinto Service Area Tug War
Lee College faces a clash with San Jacinto College over Crosby being added to the San Jacinto service area. If approved, LC could lose Crosby recruitment and growth potential, affecting surrounding LC districts and future expansion plans. Crosby students currently number 314, with 165 LC enrollees.

Study skills class replaces Psych 1100 at Lee College
Beginning Fall 1990 all incoming freshmen with under 20 hours must take a one hour study skills course replacing Psychology 1100 as the freshman orientation course. The course, aimed to reduce paperwork and attendance issues, will cover library use, financial aid and degree planning. Some faculty oppose the plan, arguing it may unnecessaryly burden students and that no waivers or testing exist to gauge need.
