LC names 10 of 11 admins to be rehired under new president
Dr. Robert Cloud, LC's new chief administrator, recommends re hiring 10 of 11 current administrators. Dr. Dee Wheatley III will move to Counseling Center duties September 1, a position he held in 1966. The board will seek candidates for two dean posts and aims to fill them by Fall 1977.

PTK inducts 54 members at LC luncheon
Beta Chi of Phi Theta Kappa at Lincoln College hosted 54 prospective members during a March luncheon in the Gold Room. Dr. Robert Cloud urged students to pursue fidelity to humanity, science, service, and labor, noting success requires time and effort. Initiation plans were announced by president Terri Stewart.

Poet Crocker Performs in Lyceum at Moser Hall
Jack Crocker gave a lyrical program for about 40 students in a casual Lyceum show at Moser Hall. He traced music’s evolution from folk to rock, read poems, and sang songs including The Fire is Burning and the Meat Needs Turning, Dear Abby, and Bridge Over Troubled Water.

Geology 402 field trip to Central Texas Llano Uplift site
Geology 402 class under instructor James Miller will take a chartered bus trip from Friday April 15 to Saturday April 16 visiting central Texas sites including graphite mines caves and sinkholes. Forty four students will attend staying at the Flamingo Motel on Lake Buchanan Dam.
