Henry W. Grady Jr. disappeared after leaving a Norfolk hotel with his wife and child. He was the only son of the late Henry W. Grady, editor of The Atlanta Constitution. Woman Admits Pushing Lukens Overboard Aboard Yacht

A New Orleans Bayou dispatch reports Mrs. Kate Jarreau confessed to pushing Earl Lukens to his death after a yacht trip on the river. Two Murderers Killed by the Sheriff's Posse in Tennessee

Jim Wright and John Templeton, noted Hawkins county desperados, were killed by a 25 man posse led by Joe Moss of Gate City Virginia near Rogersville Tennessee. Wright’s son was captured after Wright was killed in a daylight engagement following overnight fighting that began at ten o’clock. Wright had escaped from the Tennessee pen where he was serving a murder sentence and the two outlaws were said to have killed as many as six men each.
